Our Mission

The mission of the Palm Beach Gardens Police & Fire Rescue Foundation is to enhance the effectiveness and well-being of the city’s first responders. We raise funds for tuition reimbursement, individual and department wide training, new equipment and advanced technology, emergency financial assistance and impactful community outreach programs that serve the residents of Palm Beach Gardens.

Who we are

Police and Fire Rescue tactics, technology, equipment, and how police officers and fire rescue professionals interact with the community, continue to evolve and modernize departments throughout the country. In Palm Beach Gardens, we strive to innovate and keep pace with national trends, including:

  • Adapting to new levels of transparency, which were virtually non-existent a decade ago
  • Adopting new policies to promote improved community relations and outreach
  • Deploying new technologies that help both departments do their jobs
  • Developing a deeper understanding of the connection between education and enforcement

Driven by purpose

Since 2007, the Palm Beach Gardens Police Foundation has been committed to supporting our city’s first responders. What began as a citizen-led effort to aid the Police Department expanded in 2018 to include Fire Rescue, ensuring all who protect us get the support they deserve. Thanks to generous individuals and businesses, we’ve raised over $1 million to enhance public safety and well-being in our community.

What We Do

We focus on putting donations to work where they matter most, directly supporting our First Responders and their families. By keeping expenses low, we ensure the majority of funds go toward impactful programs across five key areas:

Education

We support First Responders pursuing college degrees with tuition reimbursement and offer scholarships to their children.

Unbudgeted needs can arise quickly, especially when new technology or specialized gear offers improved safety or performance. When these needs fall outside the City’s budget, the Foundation bridges the gap, funding critical equipment to ensure our teams are always prepared and protected.

“Girls on Fire” – First Annual Camp
June 23, 2025

Women who have made a Fire Rescue career their calling are working at a first-of-its-kind local camp.  “Girls on Fire” offers a chance for them to teach teenagers about the opportunities, challenges, and teamwork that are part of becoming a Fire Rescue professional. There is no sitting on the sidelines here.
