Driven by Purpose

Supporting First Responders

Since 2007, the Palm Beach Gardens Police Foundation has been committed to supporting our city’s first responders. What began as a citizen-led effort to aid the Police Department expanded in 2018 to include Fire Rescue, ensuring all who protect us get the support they deserve.

Thanks to generous individuals and businesses, we’ve raised over $1 million to enhance public safety and well-being in our community.

What We Do

We focus on putting donations to work where they matter most, directly supporting our First Responders and their families. By keeping expenses low, we ensure that the majority of funds go toward impactful programs across five key areas:

Education

We support First Responders pursuing advanced education with tuition reimbursement and offer scholarships to their children.

TRAINING

The Foundation helps cover costs for First Responders seeking advanced or specialized training beyond what the City provides, whether at the individual or department level.

Equipment & Technology

Unbudgeted needs can arise quickly, especially when new technology or specialized gear offers improved safety or performance. When these needs fall outside the City’s budget, the Foundation bridges the gap, funding critical equipment to ensure that our teams are always prepared and protected.

Community Outreach

The Foundation supports programs that build trust and connection between First Responders and the community, such as youth mentoring, Public Safety Days, Joy Drive, and outreach efforts that promote communication & awareness.

Emergency Financial Assistance

We provide emergency aid to First Responders facing unexpected financial hardship, offering support during times of personal crisis.
