The Passion Behind our Mission
The mission of the Palm Beach Gardens Police & Fire Rescue Foundation is to secure public funding to enhance the safety of our community and the effectiveness of our Police and Fire Rescue Departments. About 90% of the Police and Fire Rescue Departments’ budgets are spent on personnel and operational costs, with a scant 10% left over to improve on current technologies and develop new programs, initiatives, innovations, training and community outreach.
The Palm Beach Gardens Police Foundation was founded in 2007 to make up as much of the financial deficit as possible in order to keep up with evolving modern law enforcement techniques and strategies. In 2018, the Foundation’s mission was expanded to include the City’s Fire Rescue services whereupon the Palm Beach Gardens Police & Fire Rescue Foundation was formed. To date, our efforts have raised over $1 million through donations. We are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation.
